Song birds sing a sea shanty aboard a schooner boat loaded to the deck with bags of seed: “Seed, Seed, Seed! All the seed we need!” Captain Robin Cornwallis has seen something through his spyglass which causes him grave concern, even as the singing continues (“On this we are agreed…”) Spyglass view: A pirate ship approaches. At every level of the ship, it is crawling with scurvy, rascally squirrels, each with their eyes aimed at the bird’s ship. “Seed, seed, seed!” the momentarily-oblivious crew of The Feeder continues.
"Our cargo had been fully sacked- much of it spirited away within the bulging walls of their fleshy mouths.
The jollity of the morning hours were now a distant memory. A crestfallen lot were we who remained."
- From the Log of Captain Robin Cornwallace, The Feeder
